...also, I wish I could. I am garbage at actually knowing how to manage the guts. If my guitar tech were in town, he could help, but he's away at school at the moment. If I come across any helpful documents, I'll send them along.

I bought my 27-5800 Strat new in 1985 and love it! I'm trying to rewire mine. I let someone work on it and they had replaced the TBX tone pot and rewired it wrong. I just need to know where the pickup wires go. Green, white, brown, and yellow plus there is a bare ground. I got a wiring diagram from fender but it is not color coded. Can you please help me? This all just reminded me: I wish you could've been at the bar last Saturday. There was a private event after hours, and our little cocktail bar more or less turned into a club. Some douche asks me if he can get a vodka and Red Bull. I tell him we don't have any Red Bull. He looks at me incredulously and says, "Do you have any energy drinks?" I get a shit-eating grin on my face that I can't suppress and say, "Not a single goddamned one."

Man, it felt good.
